I have been to Magic Mountain three times already with my best friend but this time I want to take my wife to experience it. It is such an AWESOME roller coaster park!

On July 2, 2012 around 10:30 am, my wife, myself and two of our very best friends, Barb and Jason, pulled into the Six Flags Magic Mountain parking lot. What is so amazing about crossing this off my list is it started while having dinner with Barb and Jason months ago.  They mentioned they were going to California to see his Dad and that we should come along. It just proves that if you put it on your Life List, it sometimes just happens!

Our day was amazing as we started the day with a new roller coaster that none of us had ever ridden, Tatsu. It was one big, wild ride with an inverted loop that really pulled some G-force. It was an awesome ride to start the day! From there it was on to Viper where you get thrown head over heels 7 times!

After that we caught an early lunch and headed to Goliath, the mother of big coasters at the park. This ride has a huge first drop that takes your breath away. It was so much fun, Jason and I rode it a second time! Then off to Collossus, a big wooden roller coaster that was featured in the film "Vacation". We finished the round of the park hitting all the classics like Batman, Riddlers Revenge (which we all took a beating on) and several others.

Sally and I ended the day with a ride on X2 in which the seats rotate at the most opportune times (some would say inopportune), all while the coaster is hurtling through numerous twists, turns and drops, to make the ride as exciting as possible.

To keep with tradition, Jason and I took our awesome wives to In-N-Out Burger for dinner after leaving the park! It was an absolutely perfect day. Watching my wife laughing and screaming as we rode rollercoasters was such an awesome feeling. As soon as she walks into a theme park she turns into a little kid who just lets loose and enjoys the experience. It was an amazing day with three of my favorite people in the World! It makes me want to add a Life List item for the four of us to cross off together!

So we bought the plane tickets last night to cross this one off the Life List. We will be going over the week of the 4th of July with our amazing friends, Barb and Jason. I have been to this park 3 times with Jason but never with my wife. We will be spending about a week in Southern California and plan on going to Knotts Berry Farms as well. This trip will be EPIC!!!
