Inspiration:

My wife has gone on many missions trips and she has inspired me to go on this trip.  I wanted my first mission trip to be to a Spanish speaking country.  I'm nervous and excited.

How I did it:

Where do I start???  

5 months ago I was called to serve God in ways I had not before.  Specifically I was called to honor the sabbath and to tithe.  In order to do this we decided as a family to stop eating out at restaurants and stop buying "things for a year".  

At some point during this journey I felt I needed to see exactly how spoiled we have been living and asked God for direction.  

That led me to a 6 day mission trip to Guatemala.  It was life changing to say the least.
